Mystery author Linda LeBlanc
is a world traveler.
A mystery author, Linda LeBlanc's cultural anthropology classes kindled an interest in diverse societies. By June 2024, she had visited sixty-eight countries. Unusual settings and cultures are a signature of her work.
She helped Sherpas create eighteen Sherpa Guide Lodges in the Everest region and led treks to the Everest base camp. The mystery author began her writing career to acknowledge the sacrifices and support provided by Sherpas in Beyond the Summit: Everest Adventure and Romance.
The parents of Jordan Romero hired her to write his story as the youngest to climb Everest at thirteen and the seven summits at fifteen. She wrote No Summit Out of Sight: The True Story of the Youngest Person to Climb the Seven Summits in first person as a fifteen-year-old boy. His name is on the cover, but inside he credits the mystery author as the true writer.
The Rennie culture inspired the mystery author's Fair Knight Slain: Murder at the Renaissance Fair. It is Book 1 of the Sara/Ryker Mysteries.
Linda grew up hiking the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and now lives in Texas. When not traveling, she plays pickleball seven days a week.
